Teledyne Photometrics designs and manufactures high-performance Scientific CMOS, CCD and EMCCD cameras that support demanding, quantitative bio-research.
The original architect of the first scientific-grade EMCCD, Teledyne Photometrics maintains its leadership role with the release of its award-winning Prime, the sCMOS camera with built-in computational intelligence for image restoration, and Prime 95B, the industry’s first sCMOS camera with 95% Quantum Efficiency for the highest sensitivity available. The company expanded its sCMOS offerings to include the Iris Family of sCMOS cameras, designed for high resolution over a large field of view, and additions to the Prime Family with the Prime BSI and Prime BSI Express sCMOS, now featuring low-noise modes and fast imaging speeds.
More recently, Teledyne Photometrics has released the groundbreaking Kinetix Family of sCMOS cameras, featuring huge sensors, sub-electron noise levels, and faster speeds than any other sCMOS across the full frame. The Kinetix and Kinetix22 continue to change the face of quantitative bio-research, pushing camera development further than ever before.
Teledyne Photometrics also offers a comprehensive OEM support, enabling customers to integrate cameras into a wide variety of configurations, from complete, ready-to-run camera systems to component level, single-board cameras. Delivering quality products for nearly three decades, this division provides a focused approach from project initiation, through the development process and during manufacturing and aftermarket service and support. A dedicated team ensures rapid integration with software, optical, electrical and mechanical elements.
To maintain high customer confidence, Teledyne Photometrics instituted and maintains a Product Quality Policy and provides a Protection Guarantee on every camera sold. Teledyne Photometrics’ Retired Demonstration Cameras are also available for purchase and are backed by these same guarantees and standards.
