The Cascade:1K camera offers excellent spatial resolution via a 1004 x 1002-pixel detection array (pixel size: 8 x 8 microns). To deliver optimal readout performance, the Cascade:1K operates its front-illuminated, frame-transfer EMCCD at 10 MHz. Thermoelectric cooling and state-of-the-art electronics help suppress system noise for low-light-level, live-cell microscopy.
