MultiCam

Multi-Camera Image Splitter

The MultiCam allows light to be distributed into four unrestricted images on different cameras, on the basis of wavelength, polarization or focal depth.

  • 1, 2, 3 or 4 cameras on 1 microscope port
  • Engineered for super resolution quality
  • Large sensor (CMOS) format

Key Features

Simultaneous Acquisition

The MultiCam allows for up to four cameras to occupy one microscope port, imaging the same sample simultaneously with light being distributed to all. The MultiCam comes with enhanced rigidity for all camera sizes, improving multi-camera equipment arrangements.

Optical Splitting

The switching speed of a traditional manual or electronic filter changer would limit the temporal resolution.  Instead, the MultiCam uses a unique rotatable mirror cradle – giving adjustable spatial separation – to ensure excellent image registration, allowing users to split based on wavelength.

Ease of Use

With intuitive and independent x/y controls for simple alignment, and C-mount coupling (with optional T or F mount) to microscope or camera lens, the MultiCam is easy to set up and install for new or established imaging systems.  In addition, all components are specially coated, resulting in a spectral range from 425 nm to 875 nm.

Adjustable Field of View

The MultiCam features custom designed optics, offereing optimized image quality on camera sensors up to 18 mm diagonal. MultiCam input has a fully adjustable rectangular aperture, allowing for the use of cropped sensor imaging mode on all detectors.

Interchangeable Components

The MultiCam rapidly interchangeable filter cubes that can be easily swapped by the user for different filters and beam splitters.  These exchangeable filter cubes use standard 25 mm diameter filters and polarizers, and come with industry standard filters/dichroics.
